RIPLEY – The Ripley Arts Council will stage “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at The Dixie Theatre Thursday through Saturday, Feb 18, 19, and 20 at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb 21 at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m., Sa5turday Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's electrifying rock opera tells the Biblical story of Joseph, his jealous brothers, and the colorful gift that drew a wedge between them.

The tale follows Joseph all the way to Egypt, where an interesting turn of events provides Joseph the opportunity to reunite with his family, but will he offer forgiveness to the brothers that mistreated him years earlier?
