RIPLEY -- City, county, state and federal offices will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day.

U. S. Post Offices will not make home deliveries. CB&S Bank, Regions Bank and The Peoples Bank will be closed as well.

Monday will be the regular Ripley household garbage pick-up day, even though it’s a holiday, city officials said Thursday afternoon.

The Southern Sentinel will be closed for the holiday.
